A1 ADAS Group Continues to ‘Do it Right’ with BS 10125 Kitemark Accreditation

Company achieves fifth accreditation in less than 12 months

A1 ADAS Group, one of the collision repair industry’s leading providers of ADAS and diagnostic products and services, has been highly recommended for the BS 10125 Vehicle Damage Repair Kitemark.

The BSI Kitemark™, a symbol of safety which is recognised as a truly independent guarantee of quality, is the fifth accreditation to be awarded to the A1 ADAS Group in the last 12 months.

Iain Molloy, managing director, said: “Attaining BS 10125 alongside ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SafeContractor, is a real milestone for us and highlights what we stand for as a company.

“We’re experiencing rapid growth, and given the nature of the work we do, it’s imperative that standards, processes, and attention to detail never wane because of it. It’s why we have a H&S and compliance director inhouse.

“With every service we offer – and particularly where ADAS is concerned – my message is always clear; do it right, or don’t touch it at all. Working on a vehicle’s safety system carries liability so, understandably, workshops are increasingly turning to us for independent advice or to work with them.

“What BS 10125 demonstrates, is our level of commitment to that duty of care.”

Helen Molloy is A1 ADAS Group’s H&S and compliance director. She says many of its bodyshop customers already work to the standard.

She said: “It’s important to be able to show we work at this level for ADAS calibration and diagnostic services for our nationwide mobile and remote services, and in our dedicated calibration centre in Norwich.

“I believe the BSI standards are really going to shake up the ADAS repair sector. Being one of the earliest ADAS companies to adopt BS 10125, puts us in the best position to work with and help the industry as it navigates increasingly complex ADAS work.

“All A1’s processes and procedures are produced and managed in-house, meaning our systems are bespoke to the ADAS industry and specifically individual to our company. The fact they’re then rigorously audited by an external body, shows our management systems are robust.

“Our goal isn’t just to meet industry standards – it’s to surpass them.”
