Thomas Hudd, VBRA’s national manager, recently attended the National Apprentice Fair in partnership with Scania in Bristol’s held at Bristol’s Ashton Gate on 27 September. The event offered attendees a unique opportunity to delve into various career prospects available through Scania Trucks apprenticeships.

Thomas Hudd, along with Tom from the Scania team, actively engaged with numerous students throughout the day. It was particularly heartening to witness a surge of interest from young women in the Automotive sector, demonstrating the growing appeal of careers in this industry among a diverse audience.

Nigel Jones, Scania’s Executive Director for the Southwest, and his team shared Thomas Hudd’s enthusiasm during their participation in the Apprentice Fair. Their active involvement served to represent Scania’s mission and offerings while connecting with hundreds of students eager to learn more about Scania and the diverse career possibilities within the automotive industry. Notably, several schools expressed their keen interest, extending invitations for future career advice sessions regarding Scania as a global enterprise and the broader automotive sector.
