Tickets are on sale, and registrations are open for the eagerly anticipated NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards, in partnership with ECA Business Energy, BASF UK & Ireland Automotive Refinish, LV = General Insurance and SYNETIQ.
The NBRA has recently announced the return of the Greener Bodyshop Awards, awarding those who are committed to becoming more environmentally focussed but those who consider their impact on society as a whole.
To highlight the importance and commitment for these awards, we spoke to Headline Partner of the NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards, and environmental specialist Steve Silverwood, Managing Director, ECA Business Energy.
‘The UK government has announced that it will set the world’s most ambitious climate change target into law to reduce emissions by 78% by 2035 compared to 1990 levels; this is intended to accelerate the journey to being net-zero by 2050.’ Said Steve.
‘Tackling climate change is the biggest challenge facing everyone. These targets give us all the opportunity to protect the health of our planet whilst maximising the opportunities it will bring as we build towards a cleaner, more prosperous future for this generation and those to come.’ Steve continues.
‘The bodyshop sector has demonstrated that it is as committed as any other industry towards achieving these targets. These awards are a celebration of the amazing work that has already taken place throughout the sector and is continuing to gather pace to the benefit of all.’
If you are committed to bettering the environment, providing a better workplace for your employees, or you’re giving back to your community, then these awards are for you.
