Over the past 72 hours, we have been in active dialogue with Solera/Audatex regarding their recent announcement. Chris Wright, the Vice President for North Europe, has provided us with valuable insights into the challenging decision from Solera.
Chris has communicated that Solera recognizes the industry-wide challenges affecting not only themselves but also other service and solution providers within the repair industry, who are concurrently announcing price increases. The company is navigating double-digit price rises in their own costs and from industry suppliers. Despite these challenges, Solera is committed to absorbing these increases wherever possible.
“In the midst of these developments, we want to assure our valued customers that we remain dedicated to providing you with the best service possible,” emphasised Chris. To bolster our offerings, we have expanded our data content, introducing 55 new models, updating 277 existing models, and welcoming three new manufacturers to our portfolio.
Moreover, we have made significant investments in our UK service desk operation to ensure responsive and knowledgeable support for all your needs. We are thrilled to announce the launch of The Solera Customer Portal, a platform designed to swiftly address common queries and issues. It also provides you with the capability to create Support Cases for immediate assistance.
Looking ahead to 2024, we are eagerly anticipating the introduction of Qapter Claims. This groundbreaking platform, powered by artificial intelligence, will revolutionise damage detection and estimation, offering significant enhancements in process efficiency for our repairer customers.
Transparent communication is paramount to us, and we want to emphasise our commitment to working closely with the NBRA and VBRA. Together, we will keep your members and the wider industry updated on the developments of the new Solera Customer Portal and the groundbreaking Qapter Claims platform.
Martyn Rowley NBRA – VBRA Executive Director
