Steer Automotive Group, the UK’s fastest growing Bodyshop Group, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Lookers Maidstone Mercedes-Benz and VAG approved Accident Repair centre.
Maidstone formed part of the Lookers plc Mercedes-Benz south region, and Steer will continue to support the Mercedes-Benz retailers in the area for all structural repairs, working closely with the groups chosen accident management partner.
Maidstone is a very well respected and professional repair centre, run with an outstanding and established team. Steer are excited to welcome their new colleagues into the Steer family, as Maidstone becomes the second site in the groups Prestige region, servicing the needs of the worlds leading and most luxurious automotive brands.
Steer look forward to working with the Maidstone team, to further develop the business through investment in the most advanced repair techniques and equipment available to the industry.
In addition to the acquisition of Steer Prestige Maidstone, the group are also excited to announce the opening of Steer Chatham nearby to Maidstone.
Chatham has been built over the past few months, and the fantastic new team in this site are excited to begin providing a measurably different repair experience to the group’s key insurer clients in the area.
Steer Automotive Group now operates with a turnover of over £60m per year, from 22 sites across the South of England, Midlands, North East and Scotland, employing over 400 team members and repairing in excess of 30,000 vehicles per year.
