Steer Automotive Group is delighted to announce the acquisition of Fastlane Paint & Body Limited, a leading company specialising in the repair of the world’s leading vehicle brands. The addition of Fastlane’s four accident repair centres in Guildford, Ascot, Heathrow and Elstree marks a significant growth step in the group’s luxury vehicle repair division.
Founded in 2004 by Alex Andrea and Peter Weil, Fastlane has established itself as a market leader providing manufacturer approved repair services directly to luxury vehicle OEMs. In addition to this, Fastlane has established strong and historic relationships supporting approvals for Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Maybach, Brabus, BMW and Audi.
With their investment in EV repair technology, Fastlane also hold Mercedes-Benz EQ and Tesla approvals, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer service that have earnt them their loyal, long standing customer base and a strong reputation in the industry.
“When my business partner Peter Weil decided he wanted to retire we explored a number of different options and it was clear from the outset, that in spite of significant interest from elsewhere, the best fit for our business, clients and colleagues was to become part of the Steer Automotive Group family and I’m delighted that we have managed to conclude a deal with Richard and the team at Steer. We are very excited about the future prospects of our business under new ownership” said Alex Andrea, Fastlane Managing Director.
The experienced management team at Fastlane, which include Alex Andrea and Mark Hassan, will continue to lead the team, playing active roles in the business moving forward.
“We are thrilled to welcome Fastlane into the Steer family. This acquisition not only expands our footprint in the luxury space but also aligns with our commitment to excellence in automotive services, providing enhanced value to our customers and insurance partners. We look forward to building on Fastlane’s impressive track record and integrating their expertise into our operations.” said Richard Steer, Chief Executive.
