ADAS, diagnostic and garage equipment specialist achieves world’s most
recognised standard for bodyshop and garage services
A1 ADAS Solutions, one of the aftermarket’s leading suppliers of ADAS, diagnostic and calibration solutions, has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, the world’s most recognised standards for quality and environmental practice.
The company, which recently launched its garage equipment business, achieved the accreditations in less than three months, bearing testament to the high level of quality and environmental practices already embedded within the organisation.
Helen Molloy, A1 ADAS Solutions’ H&S and compliance director, said: “Just as you’d always choose a gas safe engineer to ensure competence in a domestic setting, bodyshops and garages should always be confident they’re working with a partner that’s been externally audited to ISO standards.
“Otherwise, who’s regulating the safe practices of the business you’re trusting with the safety systems of the vehicles in your care? Or supplying you with the equipment and training to carry out the work yourself?”
Helen, an experienced and qualified H&S practitioner, says quality, safety and compliance are at the heart of everything the company does.
She continued: “It was important for us to achieve these standards. We supply a lot of different services and products to the automotive aftermarket, but the systems and processes we have in place to deliver quality and best environmental practice are the same, whatever customers come to us for.
“We might be supplying an ADAS and diagnostics ‘done for you’ service, an ADAS and diagnostics ‘set up for you’ service as a product distributor, or designing a full workshop set up and supplying the equipment – it’s all managed by a robust and externally validated management system.”
By achieving the standards, A1 ADAS Solutions has not only received external accreditation for its processes and business integrity, it’s also safeguarded the business’ foundation for growth, something managing director, Iain Molloy, says is happening at speed.
He said: “We’re in the best possible position as we continue to expand nationally.
“Achieving ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 means our customers have confidence that the professional and efficient service they receive is underpinned by rock-solid and regulated health and safety, quality and environmental systems.”
