LKQ Introduces Sessions To Help Bodyshops Unlock Growth Opportunities

LKQ, the bodyshop industry’s only complete service provider, has launched a series of ‘Show and Tell’ sessions for the second half of 2025 focusing on its Intelligent Repair Programme (IRP), all designed to help bodyshops drive sustainable, profitable growth, while unlocking new revenue streams.

The hands-on, in-person events will give customers the opportunity to see LKQ’s comprehensive IRP product and associated training offering up close, from vehicle and alloy repair solutions to cutting-edge equipment and demonstrations by its own industry experts.

Bodyshops Unlock Growth Opportunities

Hands-On Training at LKQ Academy

Each event is available on a first-come, first serve basis and will take place at the business’ flagship LKQ Academy training centre at T1 in Tamworth. Accommodating up to six bodyshop professionals, supported by their account manager, the sessions have been kept deliberately small to offer a more intimate experience, enabling customers to explore the solutions up close and get answers to questions that matter to them.

Morning sessions will focus on vehicle repair solutions, with demonstrations of LKQ’s Collision Repair Kit, the largest and most competitive glue repair solution on the market, Paintless Dent Removal Kit, Interior and Glass Repair systems, and the Chip Surgeon Kit.

These tools allow bodyshops to offer faster, lower-cost and higher-margin repairs, extending the life of parts and helping reduce reliance on replacement.

Afternoon: Alloy Wheel Repair

The afternoon session covers alloy wheel repair solutions, showcasing equipment such as diamond cut lathes, diamond effect machine, wet and dry blasters, balancers and tyre changers. It offers attendees insight into how they can bring high-demand services in-house, open new revenue streams and maximise workshop productivity.

Additional training is available to purchase to ensure customers can confidently maximise products and are fully supported at every stage.

Bodyshops can book one or both slots depending on their needs, with multiple dates available from August to December.

Lee Berridge, Head of Technical and Sustainability at LKQ said:

“In a fast-changing industry, we know bodyshops are facing cost pressures and experiencing growing demand to repair over replace, which means it’s more important than ever that they expand their services to keep pace with new technologies, shifting customer expectations and the need to continually upskill.

“These sessions highlight what sets LKQ apart as a true end-to-end solution provider. All products and services showcased during the sessions are backed by the training, support and technical expertise available through LKQ Academy to ensure bodyshops invest in more than just equipment, but in the knowledge and confidence to use it to its full potential.

“We understand these are big investment pieces and so the ‘Show and Tell’ format provides customers with the opportunity to see the solutions in action and make an informed decision.”

Those interested simply have to get in touch with their local account manager to reserve their place for a not to be missed upcoming ‘Show and Tell’ session.
